I am an Associate at the law firm Pinsent Masons specialising in transactional construction law advising consultants, sub contractors, main contractors and employers across a wide spectrum of projects. I recently spent a year on secondment in the group legal department of Laing O’Rourke where I worked on BIM enabled projects, looking into the contractual implications of BIM. I have since advised on other agreements in a BIM context. I write on construction law issues for the RICS Construction Journal and RICS’s iSurv portal and as part of the my MSc in Construction Law I recently completed a dissertation on the implications of BIM for main contracting businesses. I am also a member of the CIC’s Liability Panel.
